  • We have the right to affordable homeowners’ insurance. We must solve our property insurance crisis with short-term relief and long-term solutions. No one should be driven from their homes because insurance is too expensive.

  • We have the right to clean air, clean water, and a beautiful environment. We have a responsibility to ourselves and future generations to protect and revitalize our environment.

  • We have the right to affordable housing. We must create better housing opportunities for our working families because no one should have to work two full-time jobs to afford rent or a mortgage.

  • We have the right to use our tax dollars to serve our citizens. Our tax dollars should not serve as a transfer of wealth from working families to wealthy families and corporations.

  • We have the right to send our children to public schools that provide a safe environment and a high-quality education. These kids are our future leaders and Florida should strive everyday to produce the best and brightest future citizens possible.

  • We have the right to love who we love and be who we are. Florida has always been a place where people came to live out their best days. We have always been accepting of others. We need to reclaim that truth.

  • We have the right to make decisions about our health and our families without interference by the government. Women make the world move and are entirely capable of making decisions for themselves without the unrequested assistance of politicians.

  • We have the right to be healthy. Healthcare is not a privilege of the rich in a compassionate and wealthy society. Our kids, our elderly, and those who have found themselves in hard times are not second-class citizens. They are as worthy of healthcare as every other person.

  • We have the right to know our history and be respectful of others. The history of every person is the history of America. No part of it should be ignored or dismissed. Our history makes us stronger and wiser but only if we accept the bad with the good and do better in the future.

  • We have the right to start a business and not lose that business because of failed economic policies. Our workforce is shrinking. They can’t afford to live where they work. Workers are working multiple jobs to survive. Inflation in Florida is higher than anywhere else in the country. Disposable income is becoming a myth. Businesses cannot survive without workers and customers.
